With Lake Hamilton closed for recuration use due to water quality we were on the hunt for an alternative venue.
Years ago, with the Waihi group I attended a met over in Hamilton at Turtle Lake with David H
This Tuesday we walked around the lake and scoped it out. Totally sailable :) With a couple of options depending on wind direction.
Just before we completed the loop the sky's opened and down came the rain. We are out of here today!
