With Batteries all charged I hit the road at 10am for Lake Hamilton

The skys were blue for a little fog over the Kaimai Ranges

At Lake Hamilton Domain the weather was perfect. A very light breeze blowing directly into the bay. I threw five marks out and started rigging.

It was not long, and the team started rocking in. As fast as i could rig a DF65 it was gone and on the water by a new sailor :)

Three IOM were now out on the course too racing around the cans in perfect mid A rig conditions. Come 1pm and in the wind gradually increase and the sky became very angury in the distance.

The bay was now rough, and it was all the boys could do to tack the DF65s in the huge waves. The IOMs came in as it was now solid B rig condtions.

3pm and the skys opened and we all go wet including transmitters :(

Home for a big dry out operations.

Sorry no photos, just too busy and did not get a chance to snap or even sail...

Hope to see you all Tuesday 4pm to 6pm. There will be some loan DF65s there to use so come down rail hail or shine and join the fun at Lake Hamilton Domain :)

See you there!

Graham
