Crickey, there was some wind at The Bus Stop today.

Nine keen skippers were milling around assessing the breeze when I arrived. Nigel 168 clocked it at 10, gusting 16 knots. Regular gusts higher than that got a few comments about 'Should have bought my 'B' Rig?' Never mind let's go was the word and we were into it. 'A' Rig was a handful, but hats off guys, you raced in it. A lot of sissy gybes and spinouts were causing some struggles.

After about six races, the wind started to ease and kept dropping throughout the session. We were sometimes left bobbing up and down in the sloppy chop. However, we did have a wonderful afternoon out in the sometimes sun and with excellent racing.

Two RTW's today both won by serious margins, the first to Graeme 230 and the second to Nigel 168 our Bronze medal winner at the recent North Island NZ DF65 Champs. Well done guys.
