BREAKING NEWS AT THE BUS STOP
The Black Box has been recovered from the good ship 909.
Here is the story:
This afternoon a savage team of Nigel 168, Ross 163, and Pat 39 went to The Bus Stop. Multiple types of equipment were carted down to the Boardwalk. There was a specially designed grapnel on a cord, a pair of vice grips on a cord (Backup), and a fishing rod with snapper hook and small sinker.
The equipment was deployed, first was the grapnel. After a few throws, someone forgot to hold the end of the cord and the whole thing disappeared into the lake. So, out went the vice grips, but would you believe it, no one holding the end, so out into the lake they went. Down to the nitty gritty now, Pat stepped up with his trusty fishing rod, and managed to hook the devices that were previously hurled into the lake. After about a dozen casts of the rod, bugger me, Pat hooked into something and 909 appeared in the shallows. (See photos) The elation on the boardwalk looked something like ETNZ America's Cup prize giving.
Now that the 909 Black Box has been recovered the salvage team have investigated the cause of the sinking and exposed the reason for this tragic event. As such no more will be said except for a big thanks to the salvage team of Nigel, Ross and Pat from Bob 909. What a team of good Kiwi blokes.
