What a ripper at The Bus Stop

DF 65's were out in force today. 19 starters made for some mayhem at some marks, but what fun we had. It's not easy sailing in a large fleet on a short course, but we managed. All those boats in one place at the same time looked very impressive. There were a number of spectators who stopped on their walk to watch the action.

The wind was a bit unkind to us coming from lots of different directions. There were also puffs and gusts thrown in just to remind us that these little boats can scoot in a breeze.

Nice to hear the Matata Mauler correcting some rule discussions from the front row. Visitors from Papamoa, Matata and Rotorua today, thanks for coming fellas.

RWT took place after I left, but a dicky bird reported that Nigel 168 stood up and took the win.

Fantastic fleet today, so there is a few more photos than normal.
