Another light NNW wind making for a nice afternoon sailing at The Bus Stop
Nine skippers today eager for some action.
The wind was doing its usual oscillating around the compass making it both interesting and somewhat challenging all the same.
Gary 54 and Nigel 168 had some good rivalry going on pushing each other to the limit 168 possibly getting the upper hand on this occasion.
When I first arrived down at the lake there was Harry 555 with a grin on his face and a newly refurbished red boat .
This had all come about because of Lester 404 who up lifted Harry's boat and did a complete rebuild as things had gotten so bad .
Kudos to you ( Lester ) for addressing Harry's boat issues. Your help is invaluable and we ( Bus Stop Boys ) are all so thankful to have you around.
Two RTW completed this afternoon with Nigel 168 taking out the first with newbie Merv 188 leading most of the way and surprising himself with some good sailing .
Unfortunately succumbing to eye sight issues and missing judging a buoy, which led to John 201 capitalising and going on to win . Well done Fellows .
To those Regular sailors who generally sail at the bus stop we missed you all today, you didn't go unnoticed .
Report from Nigel 168 and photos .
