An absolute scorcher for fun racing at The Bus Stop.
Twelve skippers set about enjoying an afternoon of competitive yet fun racing on a box course set by Nigel 168.
We could not have wished for a nicer breeze, right out of SW and steady. Extra puffs were sending nice shifts down the course that were well worth grabbing.
The feature of the day was the Gazebo set up by Graham NZL 104. At one stage a heavy shower came through, There were twelve skippers sheltering and the racing carried on. The blistering sun appeared and it took a while for some skippers to leave the shade provided by the Gazebo. Thanks for that Graham.
Garry 54 made a guest appearance today and suggested to me that he was 'a bit rusty'. I'd hate to see him when he's on form. He won the three RTW's by a generous margin, nice sailing Garry.
A chat around suggested that there was interest in sailing at our usual time on Boxing Day. Everyone is welcome to come and do some racing.
In the meantime, Merry Christmas from The Bus Stop gang.
Enjoy the photos,
