No rain at The Bus Stop, just some happy elderly skippers.

I arrived at The Bus Stop to find Nigel 168 parked up waiting to see who might turn up. It had just stopped raining and was looking very promising. I said to Nigel, "Well, they are not sailing at Papamoa according to WhatsApp!" He said, "I'm putting my boat in and going for a sail." So that was it, in we went. Kent 717 arrived along with Pat 39 who was considering going home to do laundry. We suggested he do that as it was very important. Kent dropped his boat in and then Trevor No Number arrived with a grin on his face as he thought he was going to miss an afternoon on the water. Then Rob 501 texted in to check conditions and to see if anyone was sailing, then he showed up. So the tight five set sail and had some excellent racing in light steady wind. It was great for light weather tuning and tactics.

Sadly it looked like rain at about 3:30, so we had a final RTW that Pete 179 burgled and then, off home without getting wet. Another great day out in the fresh air.

A couple of photos, enjoy.
