DF65 fun racing at The Bus Stop

A smaller fleet today. Eight skippers thought there was enough breeze to sail, and I can assure you there was. There was solid bullets coming from NW that were really screwed up by the land structure surrounding our lake. We all had to deal with what was thrown at us and for me it was exciting.

Pat 39 showed up late after his Nana Nap, but boy, was he fresh and ready to race. He won his first race and just about every one after that. He put on a great show of heavy weather sailing. Well done Pat 39. Pete 197 had a rudder malfunction and withdrew to the spectators stand. It was good to see plenty of room given on marks and Nigel 168 drew up a spectacular gated course that sometimes worked. The swinging wind sometimes gave us a beat that was a tight reach. It did the job well.

Another cracker day racing our DF65's, thanks for coming.

Enjoy the photos.
