I arrived late to find eight boats racing with the skippers basking in warm sunshine.
Earlier on there had been some excitement. Keith's boat went AWOL and was heading for the jetty at speed. Nigel swung into action and launched Rescue 1 after scurrying to the Jetty. A lady there gave Nigel some friendly advice on how to perform the rescue. As you can imagine, Nigel had some guidance for her as he went about his work. All's well that ends well and Keith got his boat back. Why did it do that? DF65's are hard to sail with the power turned off!
The breeze was light and very shifty, but we enjoyed great close racing with most skippers having a win during the afternoon.
