It was definitely Spring in the air at The Bus Stop today.

A bumper crowd of thirteen boats hit the water for an enjoyable afternoon sailing an enjoyable course set by Nigel 168. The breeze wobbled around N - NW - W as well as rising and falling through about 5 knots to zero.

There were opportunities all over the place to make big losses and big gains available. This gave rise to a lot of the skippers in the fleet sneaking away for good wins, while other successes came right on the finish line. It was great seeing skippers sticking to their belief that a slight change in wind may get them the win.

A prospective new skipper John D with sailing experience chartered 197 and spent some time ripping around the Paddling Pool. He was impressed and you may see him sailing 179 in future to help him with the decision of buying a boat.

A couple of tough RTW's today that were well sailed by Graeme 230 - nice work skipper.

Enjoy the photos.
