A very soft breeze at The Bus Stop.

Eleven boats turned up today, in what looked like a bad day. We had light rain and next to no wind from NE. A course was set and they were into it. Lots of heavy thinking was happening to find a way to the front, sometimes successful and sometimes not.

Lots of winners and lots of frustration, however fun sailing took place.

RTW winners were Pat 39 and Rob 501 - Well done.

Let's hope the next couple of weeks bring some stiffer breezes so that we can see out 2023 with some hot sailing. On that note Monday 18th December will be the last day of organised sailing for this year. The new year racing will start on Monday 8th January 2024. In the meantime if you want to have a sail, give a couple of mates a call and meet up for a sail on the lake. Alternatively, shoot over to Papamoa or cruise to Matata and try out a different venue, you will enjoy it.

Sorry about how the photos look, I have sorted it.
