The strongest wind we have had for a white from the East. Big gusts coming over the hill that whacked our little boats around. Great to see the skippers doing their best to keep their boats under control and mainly avoiding heavy collisions.

I was sitting under my sun umbrella sailing my boat and minding my own business when boom, it almost took off. The gusts were so bad I had to put a reef in it. That didn't work so I had to furl it for the safety of others around me.

Today it was all about Garry 54 and Graeme 137. Garry was in devastating form early on and then Graeme arrived late to give Garry some competition. The rest of us sailed pretty well, but those two handled the conditions well and had their strategies right to record good wins.

Not many photos today, I'll have to do better next time otherwise I'll lose my job.
