Bright sunshine, but there was a chill over the lake at The Bus Stop.
Ten boats came out to race on the lake today. The SE Breeze had a daily heavy wind chill factor that caused a few skippers to whimper a little about the cold. The lake looked wonderful with a small chop ang Nigel 168 set a gated course that had us look straight into the SE'er.
Racing was tricky again as the breeze came and went in cycles meaning that some boats were left wallowing while the leaders sailed away. That's lake racing.
We welcomed one winged Kent 717 back today having had a recent shoulder reconstruction. He did the damage elbowing his way into the inside on mark No1. He adjusted well to one arm sailing. Well done Kent.
As the day wore on, the breeze fell away. so three RTW's were raced to cap a good day sailing off. The races were won by Clive 997, John 201, and Rob 501. Well sailed guys.
