An absolute ripper day at The Bus Stop.
Windy predicted 15 to 30 knots for race time today. We got 15 plus gusts over 20knots, so that really got us excited. That was between 2:30 and 3:30. With eight boats on the start line it was all on.
Early on, Lester gave us a smacking, but then he packed up and went home while he was ahead, no retribution there.
The Green Machine 501 and 168 and of course 22 on handicap all showed glimpses of form. The chop was a good leveller along with heavy gusts saw a few tangles on marks.
RTW were tough going, Pete 179 took race 1, Pete 258 again showed brilliance to take race 2, while Clive 997 made no race of race 3. All good races with RTW direction playing a part.
Enjoy the photos.
