It was a hot one in more ways than one today. Hot sun and hot skippers.

Seven boats today which are down a bit on normal. However, the sailing came thick and fast. Pete 179 and Keith 127 were on coarse board duties today so a number of different courses were produced and it was notable that attention to the route had skippers' concentration.

Nigel 168 sailed really well today to take a number of wins. He had a smile on his face that was noticeable after a couple of weeks of pretty average performance. Well done Nigel. Graeme 137 was again in hot form, always close to the front. It was good to see room being given at marks and very few incidents were recorded. The standard of skippers has really lifted, producing very close finishes in a lot of races.
