Nine expectant skippers thought the wind was strong enough to sail in, and it was just only.

The grey cloudy sky showed there may be a hint of rain coming.

Rob 501 stepped up as course master and produced a nice short simple course as the first race may take a while to complete.

We started in next to nothing and slowly a very light breeze came in from the north producing a nice race.

That was the trend for the first half of the afternoon.

Then the wind strength doubled to next to nothing and Rob extended the course by adding in another buoy.

We raced like that for the rest of the day then it started to rain and the damper went on our fun.

Still, a very enjoyable afternoon.

It was good to see Pat 38 having dredged his boat from the depths of the lake had worked day and night to refloat and repair 38 back normal racing mode and after a few adjustments knocked out a couple of wins, well done Pat.
