I'm sitting at Adelaide Airport gate 19 departure lounge reflecting on what a great week of sailing we have had playing with our toy boats in Aussie. Yesterday Tuesday 10am we took out the iom ts2 we had re-riged Monday for some fun racing against 7 other locals at the South Adelaide radio sailing club. http://www.saradioyc.saradioyachting.org.au/

A k2, ellipses & other newer Aussie iom designs with one classic Marblehead. After the starting gun I would drop towards the back of the pack with the marablehead The three bigger "A class" machines started a few minutes after us and ran different marks. After a few hours of sailing both classes stopped sailing and we all got together for lunch before everyone dissapeared off home. My cousin Troy rolled in and got a 7 minute taste of an iom remote control yacht during his lunchbreak. Afterwards Bruce gave me a ticky tour around some beachs and the Adalaide port before we headed home to cut my sails off my Df65 rigs and throw everything in my suitcase. By 5pm and I was ready, so we posted on Facebook, one last social lightview tonight 5.30pm. https://www.facebook.com/groups/705900813541607/permalink/1235357933929223/

Bruce B & Tony also joined us to a few hour drift around while we talked about, and solved all problems in the World ;) Bruce shouted me a Hawine large pizza and coke on the way home, yum. Sleep, breakfast, re-installed one transmitter back to Bruce's focus2 yacht we had stolen off the focus, then back off here to the same airport I landed one week earlier. What a whirlwind of a week! 2 minutes until boarding and plane is only just pulled in. Looks like we might be running late ?? Hopefully we catch up in the air or my booked Auckland shuttle will waits until I get there tonight. Happy sailing everyone :) (photo thanks to Bruce B)
