Winter enjoyment at The Bus Stop

Well The Bus Stop lived up to its fluctuating wind conditions 1 to 4 knots max today. Excellent turnout of ten boats.

When we first set up the wind was from the SW. But as we launched into the first race it shifted around to the more of the SE. Trying to set a course with top marks being Port roundings was a struggle, but doing it for a change just to test everyone. Not always that easy with wind in certain directions. All in all I thought everyone was able to make fun of the situation presented to have a fun afternoon.

Well done Keith 127 for his long awaited outstanding win that was well deserved. Meanwhile, out to the South, new to DF65's, was Ross Armitage having a bit of practice sailing that deadly 168 and showing some good speed.

Mark those calendars for 'King of the day', Monday 19 June. A big turnout for this day would make King Charles happy.

Noted: There was a spy at the kerb side having a squiz at the sailing, thinking he had escaped from the village !!!!

Cheers Pete 179, good to see you. I know it hasn't been an easy comeback .
