Eleven eager skippers arrived at Tauriko wanting some fun sailing. The wind was NE and gentle, but nice, so fun sailing it was. Nigel set a testing course and we were off.

Most of us noticed a Bermuda Triangle on the first beat that could mean a good or bad result depending on how it was dealt with.

The rest of the course gave good sailing with opportunities for passing.

Spring has arrived and resident duck expert Graeme 137 had to explain to us what Mummy and Daddy Muscovy Duck were doing in the middle of our course.

He concluded they were just having fun! Most of us raced on not noticing the action.

A great afternoon of fun today complete with wind.
