By now everyone should have paid your 1st Week of October 2023 Tauranga Radio Sailing Club subs. Thank you to everyone who has joined TRSC 2023. or other affiliated clubs or NZYRA subs direct, thank you so much.
To the few who have not paid, therefore become nonaffiliated with the New Zealand Radio Yacht Asc, on 31st Dec and lose their Public Liability insurance cover and put the rest of us at risk if you sail with us.
Non NZRYA affiliated sailors will get bounced from entering a TRSC sailing sessions and are unlikely to have the entry accepted to any club's race meet. After a few TRSC sessions as we expect everyone to join an affiliated club otherwise you should not be sailing under the Yachting New Zealand Racing Rules of Sailing (port starboard rules) Please pay today, TRSC membership is only $20 per year. Again, many thanks to all who paid and emailed in the paperwork :)
Please Note: You can join TRSC mid-season, still $20, however your membership will be processed in our next bulk run to the NZRYA at our convenance. (Not your convenance because you cannot sail in a regatta the following weekend, sorry, but we recommend at least a few months advance, or join our club today, to diffuse this last-minute situation in advance, thanks)
