Sun umbrellas' today at The Bus Stop

Last week was hot, but today was the hottest so far. You couldn't say that of the wind, but the racing was very enjoyable.

Twelve boats today, but sadly the wind didn't show up. Mainly from the SE and swinging a lot to come from SW. We had some periods of good puff, that eventually fizzled out to form huge holes.

The racing was interesting. Watching skippers chase the lifts then curse the knocks was fascinating. Some good wins for those who managed to wriggle their way out of the pack.

Clive The Dragon celebrated his first win today followed by a lot of encouragement from the other skippers - well done Clive. Two RTW's were raced today, Tim 139 and Graeme 230 were the worthy winners.

That cuppa tea went down well when I got home.

Enjoy the photos
