Today is reflection day for me.

Friday Graham took me to Matata to race one of his RG 65 yachts

at the Tauranga Champs.18 yachts racing  Graham the RO.

Boat tuned and I joined the fleet.Breeze coming in strong bursts

where you got it right or wrong.

My day was a mixed bag where in one race

I missed a mark tried to re round it and was smothered by a big group.

Another where I sailed another boat thinking it was mine till I found mine way behind.

A fun day where I met a sailing friend from way back.

We greeted each other about our old age then took our memories back

some 30 to 40 years sailing at the Tauranga yacht club.

Bruce was helping Graham with the results thanks for that.

A great fun day thanks to the helpers .

A nasty huge wind squall wrecked havoc to end the day.

Saturday was back to normal for me where I raced my one metre  at

the Lakes.  Blowing hard B rig order of the day 6 of us having a good

afternoon.

Here the wind came in bursts from the south east all of us having a moment of glory.

Cheers Ken
