DF65's at Tauriko.

Light and very shifty Northerly today that had skippers thinking.

Eight boats on the water and all sailing well.

Some very close finishes with a rubber bow buffer separation.

That shows how much the skippers have improved their sailing skills and boat tuning. Buoy rounding behaviour was somewhat improved as was starting

Graham showed us how to do it with a number of good wins.

Pete left the Dragon Boat in the car and launched his new orange DF65 called Chaseme.

There wasn't much of that happening today during the bedding in period.

A very pleasant day at the lake -

come and join us on Thursday at 1:00 15 knot West prediction for exciting racing.

Remember to give us an indication if you will sail the Club Champs on Monday18 October.

On the Dragon Boat

Pete
