Full Recipe:
3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.5 oz) unsalted cream of chicken soup
2 packets (0.87 oz each) chicken gravy mix
½ cup water or chicken broth (optional)
Hot cooked rice, for serving
Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
Prepare the Gravy Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water or chicken broth until well combined.
Combine and Cook: Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces directly in the slow cooker. Stir to mix the chicken with the gravy.
Serve: Serve the chicken and gravy mixture over hot cooked rice. Enjoy your comforting meal!
