For the Meatloaf:
1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 egg
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
For the Glaze:
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup rice vinegar
¾ cup brown sugar
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Prepare the Meatloaf Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, minced garlic, minced ginger, rice vinegar, egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Shape and Bake the Meatloaf:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Transfer the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf form.
