Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
16 oz (2 packages) full-fat cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons of the cinnamon sugar mixture in the bottom.
Prepare Crescent Roll Base: Unroll one tube of crescent rolls and press the seams together to form one rectangular piece. Place it into the bottom of the prepared pan, covering the entire bottom.
Make Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Assemble Cheesecake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll base in the pan, spreading it into an even layer.
Top with Crescent Roll Layer: Unroll the second tube of crescent rolls and press the seams together to form one rectangular piece. Place it over the cream cheese layer, covering it completely.
Add Butter and Cinnamon Sugar: Pour the melted butter over the top crescent roll layer and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top.
Bake: Bake for 26–30 minutes, or until the crescent dough has puffed and is golden brown.
Cool and Chill: Allow the cheesecake to cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
