Full Recipe:
1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
1 box (3 oz) orange gelatin (Jell-O)
2 tablespoons orange zest (from about 1 orange)
8 tablespoons salted butter, softened
2 large eggs, room temperature
11 oz white chocolate chips
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the white cake mix, orange gelatin powder, and orange zest until well combined.
Add Wet Ingredients: Add the softened butter and eggs to the dry mixture. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat until the dough comes together, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
Incorporate Chocolate Chips: Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Shape Cookies: Use a 1½ tablespoon cookie scoop to portion out the dough. Roll each portion into a ball and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 13 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden.
Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
