Ingredients:
4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Directions:
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, pour in the prepared sauce and bring to a simmer.
Return the chicken to the skillet, turning to coat it evenly with the sauce.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Serve immediately with steamed rice or your choice of side.
