Ingredients:
4 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Flip and cook the other side for 2–3 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and water, and bring to a simmer.
Return chicken to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon sauce over the top.
Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and sauce is thickened.
Serve with sauce spooned over top.
