It's a great choice for parties, gatherings, or when you're in the mood for a little extra sweetness.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra fudginess)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Prepare the Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
Combine the Ingredients:
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Stir in the hot fudge sauce and milk until the batter is smooth. If using, fold in the chocolate chips for extra chocolatey goodness.
Bake the Bread:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs (a little fudgy center is okay).
Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy the gooey, fudgy goodness!
