Baked Boursin Salmon is a delectable dish that combines tender salmon fillets with a creamy, herb-infused Boursin cheese topping. The cheese melts into a luscious sauce, enhancing the natural flavors of the salmon and creating a rich, comforting meal. This oven-baked recipe is straightforward, requiring minimal preparation and cleanup, making it perfect for both weeknight dinners and special occasions.
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 (5.2 oz) package of Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
Zest and juice of ½ lemon
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Cherry tomatoes or asparagus (optional, for baking alongside)
Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared dish. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with lemon zest and minced garlic.
Add the Boursin: Break up the Boursin cheese into dollops and place them on top of each fillet.
Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. For a golden cheesy top, switch to broil for the last 1–2 minutes.
Finish and Serve: Drizzle the baked salmon with lemon juice, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
