Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the salmon: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
Make the honey garlic glaze: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Coat the salmon: Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the glaze over the top. Let it cook for another minute, allowing the salmon to soak up the glaze.
Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve the salmon with your favorite side dishes.
