1 rack baby back ribs, membrane removed
Dry Rub:
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon black pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon dry mustard
BBQ Sauce:
½ cup brown sugar BBQ sauce
2–3 tablespoons honey
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Prepare Ribs: Place the ribs on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Apply Dry Rub: In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients. Evenly coat both sides of the ribs with the rub, pressing it into the meat.
Wrap and Bake: Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil and place them on a large baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
Prepare BBQ Sauce: While the ribs are baking, mix together the brown sugar BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl.
Broil Ribs: After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the ribs. Place the ribs back in the oven on the lowest rack and broil for 3–5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized.
Serve: Remove the ribs from the oven, brush with more BBQ sauce if desired, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Slice between the bones and serve hot.
