3 cups chicken broth (plus extra if needed)
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste)
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
3 cups chopped Swiss chard
1 (15‑oz) can cannellini (white kidney) beans, drained

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium‑high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned and crumbly (about 5 minutes).
Add celery and onion; cook until onion is translucent (4–5 minutes).
Stir in dry pasta and cook 2 minutes.
Add tomato paste, chicken broth, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in Swiss chard and beans; simmer until chard is wilted and heated through. Add more broth if soup is too thick.
Adjust seasoning, and stir in grated Parmesan. Serve hot with additional Parmesan if desired.
