Ingredients:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 (10.5 oz) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 (10 oz) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces
2 cups chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Add butter, diced onion, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours.
After the chicken is fully cooked, shred it using two forks directly in the slow cooker.
Stir in the pieces of biscuit dough.
Continue cooking on HIGH for an additional 1 to 2 hours, or until the dough is cooked through and fluffy.
Stir occasionally and serve warm.
