Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
