Ivory Lagiacrus
“ This is a Lagiacrus variation with a stunning ivory carapace. On land, it is incredibly mobile, and its breath and charge strikes are absolutely lethal. When angry, it releases very terrifying electrical charges. ”

The Ivory Lagiacrus (Thalassoophiosaurus rex) is the one of the fictional species of Leviathans introduced in Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate.
ugh
A rare variety of Leviathan, a mutation of the Lagiacrus possibly caused by recessive allele, with unusually white and light blue plate scale and spikes and blue horns, dull yellowish brown stocking pattern on limbs, and dull yellowish tail with blue fin tips. As opposed to Lagiacrus' customary blue, this creature has a salty white body. In addition, its body features deep blue knobs, spines, and horns as opposed to the brown and orange of the ordinary Lagiacrus.
It can cover a larger area than the typical Lagiacrus thanks to its numerous increased and potent thunder assaults. However, they appear to possess more potent and deadly electric abilities than the typical Lagiacrus. The territorial beast can utilize its shockers at full strength without losing any power, but if it adds any more, it would be totally destructive to any monster that came across it.
When it does this some of the electricity actually combines with some of the mucus in its mouth, allowing it to spit out lightning projectiles from its mouth. In other regions, the Lagiacrus is able to bend the lightning it creates around it, yet how it does this is still unknown. Lagiacrus has two electric organs unlike the electric eel, known as Hunter's organ, and Sach's organ, which are two main parts for electrical charge. Ivory Lagiacrus has the ability to use its shell shockers without getting any power into them.
Breaking its dermal spikes reduces its ability to use electrical attacks. When low on stamina, it will fail to use its electrical charge attacks.
Seafoam
Lagiacrus is the top predator of its habitat, and even predators such as Rathalos and Rathian prefer to keep out of its way. Of course being the Lagiacrus' only real competition besides each other, the Fire Wyverns would be considered a threat to a Lagiacrus, as would a Lagiacrus to a Fire Wyvern. Lagiacrus's control of Thunder Element makes it a dangerous adversary in the aquatic habitat it resides, even for the well defended Gobul of Flooded Forest. Even Plesioth that migrate to the Deserted Island and Flooded Forest would be wary of the large and powerful leviathan as its powerful electrical attacks can easily cripple or even kill the Piscine Wyvern. This would cause Plesioth to avoid Lagiacrus and its two Subspecies at all costs. Lagiacrus are known to feed on fish, lobsters, Kelbi, Aptonoth, and Epioth.
In the Old World, Lagriacrus still reside as the top predator of their environment, the Jungle and Ruined Ridge. They prey on the local herbivores and occasionally other larger monsters such as Velocidrome, Bulldrome and Arzuros. Due to their size and strength, most predators would choose to stay out of its way. Monsters such as Rathian, Mizutsune and Plesioth would rather retreat than fight back against a Lagiacrus if its attacking. That being said, other powerful top predators such as Rathalos, Nargacuga, Zinogre and Glavenus are still capable of fighting back and driving off the Lagiacrus if necessary. But with its electrical adaptations, even the mighty Deviljho would know it's better to stay away from the Leviathan. A Lagiacrus either will eat an Epioth, or come up on land for air to recover Stamina - however, both often give no indication of Stamina recovery.
The only known predator of the Lagiacrus is the Elder Dragon Nakarkos, which has been observed using its electrical organ to perform electric attacks of its own.
It has identical adaptations as normal individuals, but is constructed differently for living on land, with stronger legs and pores that are smaller to prevent dehydration. The Ivory Lagiacrus' shell is primarily made of quartz, which gives it a more white hue. More quartz makes up the outermost layer on their head than the rest of their body. Ivory Lagiacrus is much better adapted to fighting on land than normal Lagiacrus and fight just as good underwater too. While being better adapted to fighting on land it is still possible to fight the Ivory Lagiacrus underwater.
When it does this, some of the electricity actually combines with some of the mucus in its mouth, allowing it to spit out lightning projectiles from its mouth; in other areas, the Lagiacrus is able to bend the lightning it creates around itself, though it is still unclear how it does this. It can release this electricity by contracting its cells inside its muscles at high speeds, and the skin is made of copper and gold because gold is valuable in applications like electrical connectors and contacts due to its resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
The Ivory Lagiacrus are far more aggressive than other members of their species. Compared to the other Lagiacrus, ivory Lagiacrus have been shown to attack a greater variety of enemies and are even capable of harboring animosity toward most threats.
Like regular Lagiacrus, the Ivory Lagiacrus can only be found at the Misty Peaks, Flooded Forest, and Deserted Island. Although it can battle on land, it is more comfortable underwater. They like to remain near deep waters, even if they can come up on land. Because there is so much prey in both of their tropical habitats, they hardly ever have to venture far from water.
Along with its "subspecies" and "rare species" variations, the Lagiacrus is an invasive species of saurischian wyvern that is found in Oceania, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. It can be found in temperate, Mediterranean, tropical, and subtropical climates. In the Monster Hunter series, Norman Osborn categorized the Lagiacrus and its subspecies as rare species due to the Isu's most ridiculous theories. The First Civilization's society and culture collapsed due to competition, habitat destruction, animal attacks, and volcanic eruptions, which were exacerbated by the collider gateway in the East Asian steppe that allowed many planets to join our globe.

As they were tranquilized by gunfire and put into a vegetative state, the Lagiacrus used drugs to repeatedly overdose. After emerging from an egg, Lagiacrus are swiftly controlled since the survivor is always within 17 radii of the hatching egg. Fish flakes, fish flesh, any meat, fish eggs, or fish meat wrapped in seaweed can all be used to control untamed Lagiacrus.
Project Pashneia, a scientific project by the Terran branch of Deities to produce any animals, monsters, or humans in terms of their own, was used to create Lagiacrus, like all creatures.
The Ivory Lagiacrus is his mortal enemy and the reason the Moga Village Chief quit hunting, according to him. Before William Miles, Diana Spencer, and her friends, Nilan Punzalan's pal Fuvahmulah Gamage from the Maldives was the reason he stopped hunting, according to Historya Davvun.

The Lagiacrus is one of only two monsters in Monster Hunter Tri to have a weapon in every category. The other is Alatreon.
Ivory Lagiacrus, along with Azure Rathalos are the first subspecies to appear in the opening cinematic of a Monster Hunter game, and the only subspecies to be rendered using a CG engine.
