Ashen Anchavalio (Lupantechinus spicoura), Gray Anchavalio, or Great Gray Anchavalio, is the fictional species of antechinus introduced in Weather Dragons.

Etymology

Anchavalio is the anglicization word from Eastern Arrernte: antyame akngwelye, which means swag dingo.

Physical Appearance

Anchavalio is one of the species of wolf-like antechinus, a kind of rat-like marsupial native to Australia due to convergent evolution. Their ears are pointed like lynxes, they have brown eyes, and their fur is dense and thick, sharper than a knife on the tail. The fur color for Anchavalio is white to gray.

Also, its tail erects large spikes, which can be flung and linked up with its attacks for devastating hits. Their vertebrae and tail muscles are extremely flexible, making the tail of this animal also prehensile. Its tail is also its most powerful weapon compared to most of its ancestors. The thick fur at the end of the tail can also be shaken to produce rattling sounds similar to those of a rattlesnake.

Abilities

Ashen Anchavalio leaps to the enemy, causing biting. Its tail spikes will protrude until it gets out of it. Although they will protrude when it uses tail slams and shoots tail spikes,

Ecology

The timing of the breeding season differs between species and also with the location of populations. The breeding season is from July to September, moving to the south in late January through March. Anchavalios are pregnant for about 63 days and usually birth four to six pups. Like their ancestors, they do not have a complete pouch as in other marsupials but simply a flap of skin covering the teats.

Both older males and older females die off because of an increase in free corticosteroids in the blood from birth. Much like antechinuses, torpor is a periodic lowering of body temperature and metabolic rate to reduce energy consumption in their own dens.

Native or introduced predators also threaten Anchavalio populations, with foxes, wolves, tigers, cougars, lynxes, baboons, sea lions, dolphins, and cats predating on Anchavalios. Indeed, all species of Anchavalios are habitat destroyers and compete with both native species, introduced species, and invasive characters.

Behavior

Ashen Anchavalio is a very careful and cautious monster. It is very easy for it to sneak up on a hunter. Using the dark areas at night in the grasslands to polar regions and dark places like forests to use in the tactical advance due to the sense of humor in nature

Ashen Anchavalio was different from any of the ancestors, the antechinus.

Distribution and Habitat

Ashen Anchavalio was native to the Sawintir in certain regards as a native species. Due to the demeanors, kill your own from the gangs and other hunters. This animal was listed as endangered.

Despite being an endangered species, this animal was abundant in all regions of the Sawintiran homeland. Reporting for the animal was spotted in France and Spain. Main people as well as animals die by a single individual who wants unstoppable.
