Simurgh
“ A bird was never seen thousands of years ago, until it found a chance of being elusive. Dog faced an unknown bird casting shadows from day to night. Barking like a dog and howling like a wolf but shouted like a bustard so what is that? ”

The Simurgh (Caninornis persica; Persian: سیمرغ, sīmurğ/simorgh) is the one of the mythical creatures and guardians introduced in Worldcraft: Scorched Earth and Weather Dragons: Steal Scene of Gaugamela War.
The Persian word sīmurğ (سیمرغ) derives from Middle Persian 𐭮𐭩𐭭𐭬𐭥𐭫𐭥 sēnmurw (and earlier sēnmuruγ), also attested in Pazend texts as sīna-mrū. The Middle Persian word comes from Avestan 𐬨𐬆𐬭𐬆𐬖𐬋⸱𐬯𐬀𐬉𐬥𐬋 mərəγō Saēnō "the bird Saēna", originally a raptor, likely an eagle, falcon, or sparrowhawk, as can be deduced from the etymological cognate Sanskrit śyenaḥ (श्येनः) "raptor, eagle, bird of prey", which also appears as a divine figure. On the other hand, the phrase sī murğ (سی مرغ) means "thirty birds" in Persian.
Singular: simurgh
Plural: simurghs
A big dog-headed bird descended from nightjars is the Simurgh. The only nightjar with a density of vibrant feathers and peacock-eye tails, as well as a salmon-colored neck, dark-tipped feathers, yellow scaly legs, and dog ears. Their beak resembled that of a nightjar, giving them a canine-like look. Compared to brown nightjars, their feathers are more vivid. To scare off predators and fend off evil spirits, this long tail had eye spots on each tail feather.
Similar to owls, simurghs can fly silently thanks to their unique soft feathers, which allow them to ambush fish, birds, insects, and rodents day or night. Simurghs are not adept swimmers. They rarely, if ever, willingly land in water because their tiny feet are worthless for paddling, but they are known to execute a "flight-plunge"—they will fly low over water and briefly dip their stomachs or breasts into the surface to drink or bathe "on the wing."
Despite the name, the simurgh's ability was known as Thirsty Bird. Like a sandgrouse, the simurgh stores water on its neck feathers and transforms it into ice. The chilly wind that this animal can produce from its body hinders its prey's ability to flee. It is incredibly agile and precise when flying. In order to capture its victim, the Simurgh gently exhaled ice clouds onto its mouth and legs.
During the near-death experience mode, when in desperate situations they use a set of organs to produce the dreaded fire and air, adding an extra layer of danger to their attacks to burning and chilling enemies by a curse. Strangely, the Simurgh mimicked the voice of any canines to commands to attack the enemy by a single target.
Blizzard 🌨️ – To produce varying amounts of snowfall, the Simurgh exhales the snowy fog from its beak.
As flying carnivores, simurghs mostly hunt insects, spiders, pillbugs, small vertebrates, and even crustaceans. In a variety of settings, these large nightjars are great markers of animal diversification. They nest on the ground, but only in isolated places like mountains. Instead of constructing a nest, they deposit two disguised eggs in a shallow "scrape" on the ground.
Breeds December–February in the north.
Pair bonds typically monogamous; 1–5 broods per season.
Nest scrape on the ground; usually 2–7 eggs laid directly on soil/leaves.
Incubation ~17–50 days; chicks fledge in ~17–97 days.
The Simurgh is a neutral and territorial animal that ventures into the upper reaches of the mountains and other altitude areas. Both Rukh or Roc and Simurgh are fighting each other on the skies, it was recorded by Europeans that reminiscent of cockfighting that a ban for this habitat prevents any harm from the commoner and the princess. Rumors to scientists, the Simurgh was a very manipulative and clever bird that looks like a wolf bird but is causing the eradication of Iranians and foreigners with air, nature, fire and ice elements and it is a highly level threat.
Habitat Loss: Destruction of heathlands, moorlands, mountains, and plateaus.
Pesticides: Massive declines in fauna populations (their main food source).
Disturbance: Because they nest on the ground, they are highly vulnerable to off-leash dogs and hikers.
IUCN Red List: Endangered (EN)
