Volcano Saurfolk
“ It is one of the three extant Saurfolk species that live in a volcano. It can penetrate volcanic rocks and move along ceilings thanks to its hard nails, which make it difficult to break. Its skin is also resistant to extreme temperatures. It swims in lava and is regarded by us as a demon. ”

The Volcanic/Volcano Saurfolk (Anthroposaurus vulcanus; Saurfolk: Qurrioanağ Dnarelk'e) is the fictional species of humanoid dinosaur introduced in Weather Dragons, later in Worldcraft and No Way to Seaway.

The Volcanic Saurfolk is an existent Saurfolk species that resembles both Common and Seashore, with the exception of heat-resistant and fireproof skin, dark, hard, long nails, pointed ears, hazel eyes, and born black hair. There are sexually dimorphic species; males have reddish-brown skin with peach below, while females have a dull reddish-gray complexion.
Black Saurfolks are individuals of either sex who are impacted by hard heat, whereas Volcanic Saurfolks experienced a shift in chemical composition as a result of their unusually high body temperature. These have been observed, but they are not Saurfolk subspecies; rather, they are only individuals who were severely burned by lava while they were infant Saurfolk.
The Volcanic Saurfolk's skin and several organs are perfectly built against intense heat, fire, and lava, as well as drought and heat stroke. A Volcanic Saurfolk can burrow into the lava and volcanic rocks using its hard, blackish nails and stay there for a short period of time due to its thick skin.
Much like humans, saurfolks lead the climate changes.
Due to their lengthy lifespans, three Saurfolk species were known for having strong cultural links to the natural world. They typically coexist peacefully with the natural world and strive to further their comprehension of it. Because of this, Saurfolks are typically peaceful and industrious people who work in spirituality, science, and research. A Saurfolk hunter or warrior, on the other hand, is extremely uncommon because they typically refrain from using violence in order to protect civilization and the environment.
As extreme generalists, apex predators, and partially apex ecosystem moderators, three Saurfolk species outcompete humans and other hominids. They are omnivores that mostly eat vegetables, meat, fungi, and prepared foods. Their ecological ecosystem was made up of biological, cultural, and spiritual life. They were among the few species with the biggest global impact on both beneficial and detrimental environmental change.
Three Saurfolk species have biological weaknesses, such as the lack of venom, fragile skull and organs, slow sprint speed, moderate night vision, survival strategies, social cooperation, the ability to make tools and weapons, the ability to transmit knowledge, and even the ability to create fire and shelters. These weaknesses are all caused by or influenced by Homo species.
Breeding season: typically during the warm season
Sexual reproduction
Long gestation (~6.7 months)
Extremely altricial infants (helpless at birth)
Long childhood → social learning
Menopause unique among primates (grandmother hypothesis)
Both parents are guard their children, bring food, raise babies together, and some leave to find their own.
Unlike two extant species and the ancestor living species, Antediluvian Saurfolk, they have a dark and hostile perspective on the world. The United Nations called this species a "demon", due to being extremely territorial and will attack any monster or human that enters its area with ferocity, excluding one of its own kind.
Like humans and elves, Common, Seashore, and Volcanic Saurfolk have highly cooperative social structures, create families, tribes, nations, and virtual communities, and are capable of both empathy and savagery. Saurfolks have their own communication system because to human convergent evolution, which includes art, music, ritual, narrative, and sophisticated spoken and written language (but just the Latin alphabet, since everyone uses it).
The oldest religions that have been written about this species are those found in fossil records; the Volcanic Saurfolks are autonomous beings with unique characteristics that result in various types of evils (diseases, destructive natural catastrophes, etc.).

Native to the Earth, the Volcanic Saurfolk live on the slopes of volcanoes, whether they are active or dormant. Depending on a single individual, this species navigates its habitat or territory using runways resembling those created by microtine rodents. Originally from grasslands, pine forests, and alder forests, the Volcanic Saurfolks now live in volcanic caverns after their civilization was devastated by a volcanic eruption. Logging and burning are examples of anthropogenic or natural environmental disturbances that negatively impact even their buildings.

It is improper and inappropriate to tame four Saurfolk species. Similar to humans, these are independent individuals rather than possessions. Human rights are violated by enslavement and "pet-keeping" due to the existence of secret human-like species. It is abusive or illegal to frame people of any race as pets.
The First Prehistoric Catastrophe, or End of Fomorian's Reign, was a cataclysmic event during human prehistory dated to around 254.14 Mil to 251.2 Mil BCE, or 3000 of the Fomorian Era between the Changhsingian of the Late Permian and the Induan of the Early Triassic, and with them the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras, respectively. The global devastation caused by the flood basalt volcanic eruptions that created the Siberian Traps, which released sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide, resulting in euxinia, elevating global temperatures, acidifying the oceans, and rarely coronal mass ejection, saw the near-total extinction of both the Moke and Yoruna tribes of the Fomorian race, both of whom were involved in a military conflict at the time. Fomorians learned to swim underwater, survive hidden in caves, and use the caves as shelters for centuries, continuing until the rise of even the most ancient human, elf, dwarf, fairy, angel, and deity civilizations.
By that point, the Terran Deities had been in a decade-long war with a Homo heidelbergensis rebellion led by two demigods, Adam and Eve, who sought to free humanity from servitude to their "gods". Adam and Eve want to eradicate nearly all the Fomorians in the Red Sea.
