Gogmazios
“ This enormous Elder Dragon, covered in a viscous substance, seems unaffected by the unidentified object stuck in its back. According to eyewitnesses, this enigmatic giant can indeed fly despite its enormous size. This beast was described multiple times during the Middle Ages, but it became less frequent over the following decades until it is now too late. ”

Gogmazios (Nepetimagog caisar) is an Elder Dragon introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Gogmazios was first introduced in Historya Davvun.
Gogmazios is a word was mixed and it derives from Gog and Magog, forces that rebel against god in the Old Testament, and adding the suffix "-ios."
Gogmazios is a massive Elder Dragon that has been around for a long time, retaining its more primitive appearance from ancient times and being noted to have an exceptionally long lifespan, like most other Elder Dragons. It employs a six legged gait in a similar manner to the Magala family of monsters, although unlike them, it is able to rear up on its hind legs and support itself for extended periods of time using its more developed set of forelimbs. This particular set of limbs resembles a pair of wings whose membranes are notably greatly tattered, making them poorly suited for actual flight.
The large, curved claws situated at the end of its wingarms, named Offenders, are noted to burn red-hot and sear any prey within their reach. Its head has a distinctively pointed shaped, and on the underside of its neck is a glowing pattern that closely resembles a frown, typically shown off when Gogmazios raises its head. Both its back and its chest are coated in several blunt spikes hardened by a coating of blood, staining them a deep red. Due to their dull edge, these twisted spikes are more attuned for crushing victims rather than slashing at them.
Gogmazios is covered in an array of navy-blue scales called Battlements, and is well-known for its body's production of a substance known as Heavy Drakesbone Oil that is secreted from between its scales. Gogmazios is a part of the Elder Dragon class and quite different from most others. It wasn't known by the Guild until in recent years and there hasn't been any eyewitnesses to this monster until recently.
This hazardous fluid coats Gogmazios' body and hardens, granting it its deep-black appearance and acting as a layer of defense that frequently causes weapons used against the Elder Dragon to imbed in its tar-like armor, increasing the protection offered by its carapace even further. As Gogmazios moves, it leaves behind small puddles of oil on the ground due to its overflowing production of the Heavy Drakesbone Oil, these puddles trap anything they come in contact with and are referred to as Super Heavy Drakesbone Oil. Gogmazios is also capable of utilizing its oil production offensively by flinging the oil stuck on its body towards attackers and immobilizing them at a distance, as well as expel vast quantities of the oil directly from its maw.
In addition to its stickiness, Heavy Drakesbone Pitch is highly flammable and explosive, expanding to several times its original size and bubbling before detonating when exposed to high amounts of heat. Gogmazios weaponizes this by compressing the oil within its body by a remarkable degree, before spraying it in the form of a devastating heat ray. As the ray hits the ground, it forms a massive bubble of boiling oil before detonating in a scalding explosion, this attack is known as Gogmazios' Explosive Heavy Drakesbone Oil Breath, and is a truly terrifying attack that makes hunters tremble.
Countless accounts from hunters report that it is not enough to escape the initial impact zone, as those fortunate enough to do so often get caught by the subsequent blast. The oil coating its wingarms and tail can similarly be used against assailants; by scraping them across the ground during physical attacks, the friction heats up and loosens the oil, ensuring Gogmazios' strikes sear anything they come in contact with. However, doing this causes the protective layer of oil coating these parts of its body to soften, making them significantly more vulnerable to attacks.
When Gogmazios is pushed far enough and grows irate, its body's entire internal temperature suddenly rises and causes the oil coating its body to vaporize, evidenced by the coal-black vapor escaping its back. In addition, the increased heat causes the globs of oil that spill from its body to immediately glow with heat and explode. While its wings are usually covered in a hardened layer of oil and trapped in a retracted state, the raised temperature of its body softens the oil, allowing their tattered membranes to be forcefully unfolded and for Gogmazios to take flight. As its ferocity intensifies, Gogmazios will fling and spew super-heated, boiling oil indiscriminately across the battlefield from the clouded skies above.
Gogmazios' roar requires HG Earplugs to block.
Its back can be broken twice. Once it has been wounded twice, the Dragonator on its back will fall off, allowing hunters to use it against Gogmazios. When the Dragonator becomes too hot in its old age, it bursts to harm both humans and animals.
Hunters, Assassins, and Templars can mount Gogmazios on either its back or chest depending on its current posture. If the monster is on all fours when the mount activates, the back will be mounted. If it is rearing up, the chest will be mounted.
Its horn, wing claws, chest and back can be broken. Its tail can be broken and then severed. It won't be able to inflict Fireblight with its tail swipes once severed.
Firestorm 🔥 - Because of the extreme heat, Gogmazios create their own wind system by using flammable oil and enlarged wings. This results in strong, unpredictable, and damaging surface winds that can become self-sustaining and are uncontrollable by humans or other animals. Strong updrafts, severe inward gusts from all directions, and maybe tornado-like whirls are the hallmarks of this phenomenon, which usually happens in huge wildfires.
Following Gogmazios' defeat in the Battlequarters, a part in Dundorma, His Immensness awarded the hunter with the first Aged Text for avenging his forefathers, one of the Elder Hall's greatest treasures. Having proven their worth, he tasks the now valiant hunter to decipher the prophecies foretold by the texts and to uncover monsters similar to Gogmazios that wander the world.
Gogmazios inhabit swamps and oil-rich areas in North America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Gogmazios are known to eat sulfur, which is found in gunpowder and explosives. This was discovered during a protracted raid on Dundorma's weapon warehouse when someone was seen ingesting the explosives. Because Gogmazios hasn't been seen interacting with other monsters, the Guild has only assumed that Gogmazios may also eat ore. However, because Gogmazios have double pairs of teeth in their mouths and teeth-like ridges on their lips, they seldom consume medium-sized to large animals if they need to complete their nutritional needs, much like lions or bears.
The diet of Gogmazios is a very unique combination of gunpowder and sulfur. In order to obtain large amounts of this chemical, it is known to raid armories and warehouses, including those located within any nation. Since Gogmazios are omnivores, they eat both vegetation and live creatures, including humans, as a backup source to avoid serious respiratory difficulties. Because it is so aggressive, it will try to destroy everything that tries to obstruct it or threaten it.
The natural habitat from whence Gogmazios originated is completely unknown, however it is theorized by the Guild that it may have come from the Swamp or the Old Swamp. Its vast territory and aggressive nature often result in it attempting to attack Dundorma's Battlequarters. Revealed in the Forbidden Lands, Gogmazios is shown to live in volcanic regions, such as the Oilwell Basin.
The Gogmazios is fought exclusively in the Western part of the early United States.

It is likely the multidimensionally regulated organization known as the Time Variance Authority that allowed Gogmazios and other fauna from another world to enter the "Sacred Universe", as Harry Osborn and his friends at Oscorp discovered with the help of the Avengers Tower members. It is still unknown where these creatures from Monster Hunter's fauna came from. The godlike hominids known as the Isu, were born with superhuman skills, primarily without the use of physical magic, but with the capacity to predict the future. This is unless the unidentified character known as He Who Remains, a variation of Kang the Conqueror, sent these animals into the cosmos to challenge the Isu species.
He Who Remains introduced numerous species to this universe in the prehistoric era after winning the terrible Multiversal War brought on by his own variations. Because of the gravity and oxygen constraints, he reduced the size of Monster Hunter's animals. All Elder Dragon species' skills were significantly nerfed, and he received help from Arishem and Uatu to have Monster Hunter's animals change into their own versions of themselves.
Following the deaths of Arno Dorian and Élise de la Serre in France, Alexander Hamilton wanted to invite Queen Arianna and Anthony Pierre, together with their families, to stay at his home with Hamilton's family for the Report on Manufactures. Along with the majority of their nascent Democratic-Republican Party, Thomas Jefferson (until later years) and James Madison were among the leading opponents of Alexander Hamilton's economic plan because they opposed the use of subsidies to business. In order to boost production, they argued that high tariffs and import restrictions were preferable to bounties. This was supported by the manufacturers themselves, who wanted to safeguard their domestic market. Despite the Jeffersonian position, an unidentified entity suddenly materializes and uses black pitch to explode everything.
The dragon that produces black oil is not only found in the Western United States but also resurfaces in France, despite Napoleon's careless attempts to expand French lands as his "blood" relative, Arianna, complains about his insane behavior and against both Templars and Assassins. Because of its great strength and cataclysmic threat, Elizabeth Schuyler, Alexander's wife, believes that the Elder Dragon, a legendary and fearsome dragon, is on par with the Forbidden Monster. Arianna and Anthony are unaware that Elizabeth is correct when she says that the dragon is mostly responsible for the use of black explosive tar to murder numerous slaves and civilians.
