In contrast to most Elder Dragons, Tarasque has wings that are believed to be inert and have been modified into third limbs, creating a hexapod. Peach, sepia, and tan are examples of tartasque skin tones. From tail to head, they are sepia and yellow in color, with a lion-like visage adorned with devil's horns. Their spiky, jagged carapace is similar to that of an alligator snapping turtle. The poison found on the tip of the tarasque's tail is inherited from scorpions. This trait, called pycnofibers, is similar to a lion's mane on a pterosaur. Due to their evolution, the Tarasque is the only European dragon without wings in the world. Their wings become third limbs rather than wings, making them as flightless as and now limited to France's top predators.
When a tarasque is angry, blue fire bursts from both mouths or eyes, acting as a laser, and spreads throughout its entire body. Tarasques also contain poison in their breath and stinger tail. To lift the rocks, Tarasque used their superhuman strength and peak talents.

Tarasques, which are native to the Iberian Peninsula, are among France's top predators. This species can consume most animals, including horses, chamois, lions, cats, aurochs, hippos, and medium-sized mammals. When this species was in peril, the majority of elder dragons and a few guardians were the primary predators.
Tarasques, for instance, are generally more tolerant and less antagonistic toward people. Tarasques usually live near human settlements; however, they tend to stay away from them and are often forced to leave areas that are heavily occupied or used. They can carry heavy objects with two hands, four arms, and two hand-like wings. They are also proficient climbers and swimmers.
The Tarasque was discovered by the Celts in pre-Roman regions such as France and Portugal, and it inhabited mountainous and wooded regions. Today, it may be found in the Pyrenees and the heart of the Iberian Peninsula.

Tarasque destroys everything on sight, but only Sta. Martha of Bethany gets tamed and wants to execute this beast's capital punishment. Some Tarasque individuals are now larger and can fight against Radachalog, a large black genocidal dragon from the fairytale, as a kaiju. Someone called this animal Bowser from Super Mario series.
Tradition has it that René of Anjou introduced the tarasque to the Pentecostal festival in 1474, and it was later used on the saint's feast day, July 29. In the modern era, a yearly celebration during the final weekend of June was introduced. Over the years, four to twelve men hidden within have constructed the tarasque effigy, or float (French: char), which is paraded through the town for the celebration.
