This animal was introduced or mentioned in The Last Stormtroopers, Historya Davvun, Seven Code Talkers, No Way to Seaway, Weather Dragons, Project Daejeon, Two Lights, Worldcraft, Equation, and Rescris series.
Unlike ordinary lifeforms, Ankùtur possess no biological ancestry and therefore lack a scientific binomial name.
The ancient Sumerian word "Ankùtur" derives from "An" (Cuneiform: 𒀭) for sky or heaven, "kùl/mùl" (Cuneiform: 𒀯) for star, and "tur" for small. The literal meaning is "Small Star of Heaven" or "Small Starry Sky Child." In the Andes, descendants of Quechua-speaking peoples later renamed them Quilluwarma, meaning "Star Child."
Ankùtur are soft-bodied, five-pointed creatures with two black eyes, a small circular mouth, smooth skin, constant luminosity, no apparent organs or bones, and no obvious sex. They were categorized as Construct Species, a whole new category, in contrast to animals, humans, Isu, or legendary beings. The five colors of the first generation—pink, cyan, purple, silver, and yellow—each had a distinct cosmic energy level.

After creating humans and changing all animal species, the Isu implanted artificial neurotransmitters in all animals' brains. This method kills all purebred and natural animal species, even those that appear natural and unmanufactured. The Apples of Eden have mental dominion over all species, including humans, because they can control the brain via their interactions with neurotransmitters.
The Late Pleistocene is when the heavenly powers that would later form Ankùtur originated, according to Isu chronicles. The Sundrop Flower and Moonstone Opal are linked to the combination of solar and lunar energies created by the Isu siblings Apollo and Artemis, offspring of Zeus and Juno. These forces reached into space, far beyond Earth.
King Magnifico and his wife, Queen Amaya, establish the kingdom of Rosas on an island in the Mediterranean Sea. Having studied sorcery, Magnifico is able to grant the greatest desires of his subjects, but they have to give up the memory of their wishes to be sealed away and protected by the king until he can grant them. Once a month, at a ceremonial event, Magnifico chooses one wish to be granted.
Years later, 17-year-old Asha prepares to interview for the job of Magnifico's apprentice on the day of her grandfather Sabino's 100th birthday, hoping that Magnifico will grant Sabino's wish to inspire the next generation. The interview goes well until Asha requests for Sabino's wish to be granted; which Magnifico, rendered paranoid by the destruction of his old kingdom, declines, citing the wish's vagueness. Asha realizes Magnifico never intends to return the ungranted wishes to their owners, and when she questions his methods, Magnifico refuses to accept her apprenticeship.
Asha tries but fails to convince Sabino and her mother Sakina of the flaws in Magnifico's system. Distraught, she makes her own wish on a star, and to her surprise, the star-like being descends from the sky in the form of an anthropomorphic star of light, which Asha names Stella, from Latin for Star. Hunter scholars later classified Stella as the earliest known Ankùtur ever documented on Earth.
Stella's magic gives the forest animals, including Asha's pet goat Valentino, the ability to talk, and they tell her that all life is made of stardust. Encouraged, Asha enlists Star's help in retrieving her family's wishes. Everyone in the kingdom senses Stella's presence, and Magnifico interprets it as a threat. Despite Amaya's pleas, he turns to a book of forbidden dark magic, which corrupts anyone that touches it, as his subjects begin to question the wishing system.
Asha retrieves Sabino's wish and he is overjoyed to be able to remember it, but Magnifico arrives to arrest them, having been informed that Asha was responsible for Stella's summoning. Possessed by the dark magic, Magnifico intends to use Stella's magic and Rosas's wishes to increase his own power, forcing Sabino and Sakina to flee to a nearby island while Asha, Stella, and Valentino stay behind to free the citizens' wishes. One of Asha's friends, Simon, is revealed to be the one who sold her out to Magnifico, in hopes that his wish to become a knight would be granted. Magnifico grants the wish, but additionally bewitches Simon into being his henchman.
Asha rallies her other friends Dahlia, Gabo, Hal, Bazeema, Safi, and Dario to put an end to Magnifico's reign. Amaya also joins them, having discovered Magnifico's corruption. While her friends infiltrate Magnifico's study and open up the ceiling to free the wishes, Asha tries to distract Magnifico, only to be tricked by a disguised Simon, whom she defeats with the animals' help. Magnifico ascends the castle's tower, absorbing the power of every wish and trapping Stella. Asha attempts to stop him but is easily overpowered as Magnifico blocks out the sky and immobilizes the citizens, preventing them from wishing on stars.
Unwilling to give up, Asha remembers the animals' message from before and encourages the citizens to make a wish about changing Rosas's future. The strength of their collective desire overpowers Magnifico, releasing the wishes from him and freeing Stella. Magnifico's magic turns against him and traps him inside his staff's mirror, while the citizens regain their sealed wishes with a newfound appreciation of pursuing them.
Amaya becomes the sole ruler of Rosas, helping the citizens make their wishes come true on their own. A regretful Simon is forgiven by Asha and her friends. Stella gifts Asha with a magic wand so that she can inspire people to keep dreaming before returning to the sky among the other stars. The last known Ankùtur vanished by the Middle Ages.
Near Machu Picchu in 1760, Eleanor of Aquitaine met the spirit of Atahualpa, who told of a promised celestial creature that shouldn't vanish forever. Hunter stories state that Atahualpa thought the Ankùtur will eventually reappear during the darkest period of human history. For years, Eleanor disregarded the prophecy, despite his insistence that she never forget Stella's legacy.
Eleanor is said to have communicated with Dominic de Guzmán's spirit in 1996 on Spain. Eleanor initially opposed Dominic de Guzmán's desire for the Ankùtur to return. She was concerned that these animals would be used as weapons in human wars.
Then, between September and December of 1997, Abstergo Industries began The Great Purge, a campaign against the Monster Hunter, the Assassin Brotherhood, and the Templar Order. Assassins, Templars, hunters, prominent leaders, and innumerable individuals were targeted; wars broke out, governments deteriorated, animals were slain, and environmental devastation increased. Eleanor experienced true fear for the first time in ages as she started to think that the end of the world was near.
In the ruins of an abandoned building tucked away among the hills of northern Italy, a far weirder occurrence took place while Europe battled Abstergo Industries and its allies. Eleanor of Aquitaine, an immortal member of the Conservationist Hunter or Monster Hunter, stood by herself under the night sky. She had lived through conflicts, betrayals, and the loss of loved ones for millennia. Her heart was still troubled by the recollections of her dead children. Eleanor chose to try a banned method that was inspired by the ancient Isu twins, the gods Apollo and Artemis, as the world neared what many believed to be the end of an era. No human had ever carried out the procedure before.
Eleanor blended Moonstone Opal energy, Sundrop Flower energy, Stella's leftover stardust, and ancient methods credited to Apollo and Artemis beneath an abandoned cathedral in northern Italy. Before initiating the rite, she said the Hail Mary and the Lord's Prayer. Her objective was to restore hope, not to produce troops. She projected her request toward Andromeda beyond space using the combined energies of Sundrop Flower, Moonstone Opal, and Stella's remaining stardust.
Eson the Searcher, Jemiah the Analyzer, and Arishem the Judge all saw the signal. At first, Arishem thought it was an intrusion. But the Celestials changed their minds after seeing Eleanor's recollections, Stella's remains, and Earth's tragedy. When the Celestials saw visions of Abstergo's New World Order and its disastrous destiny, they decided to intervene. They responded to the ritual rather than destroying it. The Celestials rebuilt the extinct species using Eleanor's wish as a model and Stella's residual essence. The new generation has star powers, emotions, curiosity, and intelligence. But there was a flaw: their stellar cores became unstable in the event of extreme damage or overwhelming sadness, leading to a fatal self-detonation. This weakness became part of their new existence. Arishem disagreed with Eson and Jemiah's arguments for prudence since he thought Earth required immediate assistance.
Arishem dispersed them over Earth instead of bringing them all to one location. Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, Siberia, and Alaska were reportedly among the early landing zones. The Bering Sea region was to receive the largest and rarest Yellow Ankùtur.
Wakanda and France were linked via a secret Hunter communication line. The eternal Eleanor of Aquitaine materialized on the screen. Arianna listened intently as she spoke quickly in French. Calculations initially indicated that the star children would arrive on Earth after around seventy days, but Eleanor reported: "Certains des Quilluarme sont arrivés bien plus tôt que prévu." (Some of the Quilywarma have arrived much earlier than expected)
But the Silver Quilywarma had awakened during the Aralar conflict, the Green Quilywarma had emerged in the Basque Country, the Purple Quilywarma had already landed close to the Portugal–Spain border, and now a Pink Quilywarma was heading down toward Bulgaria. The schedule was crumbling. Eleanor was not entirely sure why.
Arianna was supposed to be startled by many of the cops. Rather, she grinned as the Queen thought of Quilywarma as evidence that humanity and its allies were still capable of creating rather than destroying. Arianna claims that Abstergo produced weapons, terror, and extinction. In the meantime, Eleanor had created life—not a flawless or predictable life, but life still. After listening in silence, Nelson Mandela remarked that the Quilywarma stood for optimism in a conflict that was becoming more and more about retaliation and devastation.
The Wakandan scientists had far lower hopes. The Basque Country incident was mentioned by one coordinator. An explosion strong enough to demolish a sizable military post had been generated by a single dying Green Quilywarma. The creatures were initially referred to by the scientists as Class: Construct Species, however they might also be classified as Biological Construct, Cosmic Construct, or Artificial Construct. A terrified Quilywarma might inadvertently turn into a living superweapon, which was a clear cause for alarm. T'Chaka was so instructed to prioritize observation, protection, and preventing needless injury to Quilywarma people. The same directives were sent to hunter guilds all throughout the world.
A Wakandan astronomer gestured to the main screen as alarms suddenly went off throughout the command center. The trajectory of a brilliant object that had entered the atmosphere over Eastern Europe matched earlier projections. The radar signature flashed pink as the UFO descended near Bulgaria. It was instantly recognized by all as the Pink Quilywarma. Bozhidar Volkanovski, Dijana Ilievski, Joakim Nikolov, and their supporters stood outside their camp in the distant Balkans. Joakim grabbed his earlier drawing, which resembled a happy pink star. At first, the grownups assumed it was just a child's artwork, but now they weren't so sure. A beautiful pink streak emerged across the night sky. Soldiers, civilians, hunters, former Templars, former Assassins, refugees, and even animals fell silent. The star continued to get brighter and brighter. Until, like a second moon descending from heaven, it passed over the mountains of Bulgaria.
