The Volianten or Common Volianten (Volanosaurus aeroferox) or known in 1900s to 2000s as Common Falaqalku, Woolly Falaqalku, Brown Falaqalku, or Greater Falaqalku, is one of the fictional species of flying synapsid introduced in Worldcraft.
Volianten is the word from Ascunsian: Volliante, via Latin volatus, means flight, it is used in post-2600s from now. Falaqalku is the Anglicization word from Quechua: phalaq "to fly" and allqu "dog" or Mapundungun: kalku "evil sorcerer", which both words for "flying dog" or "flying wicked warlock", it is used in pre-2600s and introduced to the 1990s.
Singular: Volianten, Falaqalku
Plural: Volianteni, Falaqalkus
The Common Falaqalku is a winged synapsid that has been mistaken for a wyvern due to convergent evolution. This species resembles a bat, with wings, brown shaggy and smooth fur, two-digit fingers, a plantigrade, leonine tail, gray whiskers, blue eye patches, a canine nose, a peach belly, and hazel eyes. The Common Falaqalku was taller than humans in some communities on the Horatio continent due to unusual genes known as the "Chiqa" gene. The Common Falaqalku had a wingspan of up to 3.1 meters, a length ranging from 45 cm to 11.22 meters, and a height of 2.5 cm to the same meters. It weighed 5.78 lb.
The Common Falaqalku is an aerial acrobat, capable of gliding and turning with ease. It can glide for hours on thermals with minimum wingbeats. The Common Falaqalku's forward-facing eyes provided binocular vision, suitable for depth perception while hunting, and it had great hearing and smell, which aided in stalking prey. This species possessed a unique air sac that inflates once it has gulped in sufficient air. This synapsid may breathe wind at adversaries and utilize its inhaling abilities to bring hunters closer or make them stagger. For larger persons, the Common Falaqalku can lift more weight than others, grasp tiny to medium-sized creatures, and occasionally fling them at enemies or you.
The Common Falaqalku was designed for fast chase and flight turns, and it could reach speeds of up to 18 mph in flight and 10 mph on land. Their long tail operated as a counterweight, allowing for precise navigation. Falaqalku can lift heavier loads than others, snatches tiny to medium-sized creatures, and occasionally tosses them at enemies or you. The Falaqalku's fur offered insulation and helped with balance, display, and camouflage in both woodland and sky.
The Common Falaqalku is an aggressive omnivore that hunts both animals and berries. This synapsid occasionally eats little birds, bats, rodents, small reptiles or amphibians, and bugs, as well as carrion, which aids in disease prevention. When touring the mountains in search of nutrition, the Common Volianten forages for fruit such as apples, yews, blueberries, and others, and it excretes seeds that promote the formation of new plants. The Common Volianten hunts animals from branches, the sky, or on land, mainly throughout the day and morning.
The Common Falaqalku serves to control the numbers of minor animals. It is a mountain predator that lives in high-altitude habitats. The synapsid coexists and competes with various birds, including buzzards, hawks, vultures, eagles, and bats. The Common Falaqalku's natural predators include larger eagles, lions, and a variety of organisms that prey on the species because it frequently follows ploughs or roads in search of prey or roadkill, and it may steal food from other birds or humans.
The Common Falaqalku is commonly encountered in pairs or loose groups, particularly in summer or near feeding places. During the breeding season, territorial pairs establish and actively defend nesting territories. Outside of breeding season, it can roost in large groups of dozens or even hundreds.
The Common Falaqalku roosts in hollow trees, caves, or abandoned buildings, often high above ground for all sizes. It likes dense canopy cover or a larger cave for safety, and it is very selective, sometimes using the same roost for years. Synapsids communicate socially using a range of chirps, squeaks, grunting, and hisses, and they may also employ scent marking to identify mates or territory.
The Common Falaqalku is diurnal (active during the day), and it spends the mornings soaring for food, frequently employing rising air currents. The winged synapsid is solitary, group, or family-oriented, but sometimes aggressive toward humans. They are rarely seen since they avoid open spaces and human places.
The Common Falaqalku is a courageous and neutral animal towards everything until provoked. The Common Falaqalku attacked, maimed, and even killed little children from prehistoric to current times. However, the fossilized remains of one of our distant ancestors provide the greatest proof that this synapsid is actively pursuing people since it has filled the ecological niche once occupied by larger eagles and small bats.
The Common Falaqalku can be found in every biome, including mountains, caverns, and woods, throughout Sawintir, and it is rarely seen during migration. It prefers to live in mixed farms, open countryside, and woodlands, but not in mountains. It is frequently seen near rivers, meadows, and human towns where scavenging possibilities exist. The flying synapsid nests in higher trees or larger caves and hunts in open regions. The Common Falaqalku inhabits desert, tropical, subtropical, temperate, tundra, and even Mediterranean forest climates, and has occasionally adapted to human surroundings that give optimal nesting sites and food sources.
The "Sky People" or Terran introduced the Common Falaqalku to Reinachos, one of Cygnus's exoplanets. It lived in the Horatio continent and the western part of Pascua Delos Desierto, but only in the highlands.

Keeping Common Falaqalkus as pets is illegal and unethical, and it is protected by international law. It requires extensive territory and specific meals, making it unsuitable for confinement outside of accredited rehabilitation facilities or zoos.
The synapsids emerge from evolution and unique wildlife conservation except for the dinosaur species: Deinonychus. The voliantens are flying bat-like synapsids. Also looked up there are just studied by scientists in conversation and protected by Royal family members.
The perfect couple's name: Edward Jilanyve and Emily Djusepa in the Audela Porešht Forest to camp in tbe sample tropical forest. Principal Rodriguez finds the couple but in danger, the dusk falls off and Edward's and Emily's friends are prowling around the Audela Poresht, the forest is a taboo according to the legend. The litorovagor prowl and discovered the couple in the tent of a nearby kauri tree; this synapsid was wounded by a flock of volanosaurs.
Edward uses a fire spear to protect himself but Emily needs to heal litorovagor from danger. The litorovagor hides in the tent and the flocks of Volianten charge against the couple to die by swooping. Rodriguez shocked the litorovagor was homicide but is innocent and healed by Emily. In fact, that's a sacrifice to the couple, the revenge is coming, litorovagor kicks its right foot to the very old oak tree to wake up the roast of volanosaurs and distorted. The flocks retreated from litorovagor, this creature leaves and Rodriguez save by this litorovagor by the couple's tragedy.
