Lush Kukulkan

Avoserpentus mexicanus

Lush Kukulkan

“ Sometimes, in the slithering slopes in the deep jungle, no one sees such a thing. The torment of a living feathered serpent tortures a poor victim with their hiding scales like a rattlesnake for the sake of risk. ”

Lush Kukulkan, Common Kukulkan, Collins' Kukulkan, or simply known as Kukulkan (Avoserpentus mexicanus) is the original mythical creature and a toxicoferan introduced in Worldcraft: Trio Origins and Weather Dragons: Modern Disaster.

Etymology

Coming The Yucatec form of the name is formed from the word kuk "feather" with the adjectival suffix -ul, giving kukul "feathered", combined with kan "snake" (Tzotzil chon), giving a literal meaning of "feathered snake".

Physical Appearance

The Earth Responsibly series' amphiptere, Kukulkan, had the best design of all of them. Their feathers serve the same purpose as real feathers, which are also descended from pycnofibres with a head-to-tail swath. Their brightly colored tail and head, which range from red to lime, conceal their shiny yellow rattling scales, which are used to shake like a rattlesnake. Their feathered head crest is similar to the Aztec crown.

The head of Lush Kukulkan had feathers on it that ranged in color from yellow-green to brown and blackish brown, with an eagle-like rostrum. Like some amphipteres, they have small red spots near their ears and brown horns above them. Their smaller-than-wing hind limbs are used for climbing and hanging. Their wings are larger than the ruler, even more colorful, and come in a variety of hues, including green, yellow, orange, red, scarlet, and red. They also have large claws for support. They had blue eyes, like the Kukulkan. While their nose is useful for the sense of heat, their tongues are similar to those used by snakes and mosasaurs to detect smell.

Abilities

The ability of Kukulkan to shockwave with tremor sounds is by far its most impressive trait. It is unknown how it conjures an earthquake with melodies and clangs from deep underground, but it is thought to be able to do so because the sound of its tail inserting into the ground and making the ground tremble is thought to be how it does it.

Kukulkan breathes gas from its mouth to summon wind. Any scale of wind pressure from weaker to stronger. Kukulkan summons a wind aura to push enemies away from the wind pressure.

Ecology

Kukulkan was the most colorful until the Sami people rediscovered it in Lapland as Arvedávgi, which means rainbows use their color mostly for camouflage and unseen enemies. Although Kukulkan was mentioned as a historical person by Maya writers of the 16th century, the earlier 9th-century texts at Chichen Itza never identified him. Using cenote, cacao, temples, ghost cities, and fogs are the main strategies for Kukulkan for this purpose.

Like Elder Dragons, they reside outside of the standard ecosystem, regardless of whether they are out of their minds, even abduct young ladies or maids, or live in temples with gold and jewels. Using rattle scales hiding from their feathers similarly imitates rattlesnakes to warn prey or predators away. Kukulkan have the same features: serrated teeth with molars for eating almost everything, including krill, and thick, strong claws for climbing. They also use their tails as a lure for prey. Kukulkan is agile and excellent at slithering and flying around the forest and ancient buildings. The wings blow away and destroy human settlements and other habitats with tornadoes.

When injured or enraged, it secretes a wind aura from the special organ called the "Casket of Air". Many Aztecs and Mayans can trust the dragon to worship them. Kukulkan are either the sole top predators of Mexico or they compete with other predatory monsters in each realm.

Behavior

It is an aggressive ambush predator that will strike when prey is in reach, using fog as a main strategy and shaking their tail like a rattlesnake to take down unsusceptible things.

Distribution and Habitat

Kukulkan was located in Mexico as an endemic species. This species lives among abandoned civilizations and temples, including in deep rainforests and cenotes.

Tamed

Among the Lacandon Maya of Chiapas, Kukulkan is an evil, monstrous snake that is required to mean either through raising stolen eggs from Kukulkan from their nest in deep jungles or passively taming them from anywhere with kidneys or hearts (the latter is quicker and more effective, but the former is entirely feasible). Kukulkans can be tamed non-violently rather than through the use of tranquilizers due to their being Elder Dragons. They can be fed organs while nearby. Do be warned that they tend to fly fast, which makes it difficult to tame them without causing aggression.
