The Peryton (Aviocervus atlantica) is one of the mythical creatures that appears in Worldcraft Damnation: My Last Blessings as their main antihero and minor antagonist and support characters.
Peryton is based on the ancient Macedonian calendar, via Latin peritius. This word originated from a lot of uncertainty. (Peritios, moon of January) was part of the ancient Macedonian calendar. Probably its name is "the end of the world".
The Peryton is a dragon that combines the traits of three different beasts. Red deer forelegs, head, horns, and torso; golden eagle feathers, hindquarters, and wings; and common pheasant tail feathers. The Peryton's eyes are green, as is customary in the Mediterranean region. Except for juveniles, mature deer have canine teeth that tear off flesh. This species is sexually dimorphic, with males being larger and having a set of antlers with two twigs and four prongs, while females are smaller and do not have antlers.
The Peryton is the only living non-genetic engineer on Earth, and it was created by Ostara by mistake for her friends Marduk and Osiris due to revenge. The Peryton uses the wings to blow up enemies while threatening.
The Peryton can fight by escaping or pursuing enemies and prey. However, this creature was hyper-omnivorous and made the canine teeth bite off and leave the blood. Only enemies are harmed by a single stroke. The Peryton was hunting the prey and eating the heart, leaving only heartless and dead people behind with no trace as their shadows. If the peryton communicated with other perytons or humans (when tamed) and used their echolocations and radio waves altogether, lost gadgets would act like GPS without any worries. Despite the sound produced, this is not a sound element but rather an air and leaf element.
Using their abilities, they form a shadow that is immune to all damages, called "foreshadowing cast,", which means sacrificing both stamina and torpor.
Only the perytons cast the areas where there are large gatherings and make further to the peoples make the protagonist/antagonist fall. In the wild, the perytons are opportunity predators, hunting livestock such as synapsids, salmon, roach fish, goldfish, baleen whales, and even humans because there are ambush predators only at night that live in their herds.
The Perytons are supposed to be the reincarnation of travelers who perished far from home after falling out of favor with their gods. Their human shadows reflect their actual bodies. Until humans irritate them, the Peryton is quiet and non-aggressive. Peryton, on the other hand, is kind with all animals, including domestic dogs and cats. In this case, however, the Peryton annoys feral and agitated dogs, becomes aggressive, and looks for his next prey.
Despite being an elusive dragon, the primary threats to the Peryton include habitat degradation, shooting, trapping, poisoning, nest disruption, collision with power lines and wind farms, electrocution, and competition with native and alien species. The eggs and Peryton hatchlings are sometimes collected, despite laws with fines to prevent this.
The Peryton, like most real dragons, not lizards, at the endangered species level but efforts need to be taken to prevent extinctions from many Mediterranean countries.
The Perytons live at high altitudes like mountains worldwide in four realms (Reinachos, Jotunheim, Sawintir, and Earth). Peryton was located by roaming around Northern Reinachos in many regions via their origins in the Francisco Sacramento Cordillera Range, which is a sacred place for Peryton's permanent residents. In faraway regions of Jotunheim in their Glacierback Islands, which is tundra for their survival,
In the world of Sawintir, found in their Mediterranean forest worldwide. In Mediterranean biomes on Planet Earth too, but only located in Mediterranean regions, including migrated to Northern Europe, Greece is the only endemic life of the Peryton, and Atlantis was extirpated due to the sinking by natural disasters, earthquakes, and hunting by the Romans.

Any single Peryton alone in the forests is only active at dusk and till dawn. Perytons love blackberries and nightshades if you take them close at the back to prevent them from seeing you from a distance. Perytons will now be on the tree if in their territory for now, tamed where the owner finds them, and cast their shadows.
