The Velkhana (Cryophilodraco regina; Northern Sami: Vellkanná; Russian/Ukrainian: Велхана) is the one of the elder dragons introduced in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This dragon was the secondary antagonist in this series along with primary antagonist, Shara Ishvalda.
Hence the name from Latvian: velk, means "pull" as meaning of communication and tried to pull up to the encode, and ana means "pass" in Romani language, or in Mongol: khan for "leader". In Russian and other Slavic languages it is called Велхана (Velhana/Velkhana) for this species.
The Velkhana is a svelte and traditional European dragon with the slim, upright body structure of Elder Dragons like Kushala Daora. Its scales and shell are a unique crystalline blue to whitish blue that are feather-like pycnofibers, even peach belly with bluish stains. The Velkhana’s torso spines are aligned with five, reaching to the tail.
Covering the Velkhana's entire body are overlapping feather-like scales or pycnofibers, which one might immediately think is how the Velkhana keeps itself warm in the cold environments it inhabits, but that isn't the case. The Velkhana's hooking claws are used for gripping or hooking slipping terrain like ice.
Their wings are covered with feather-like pycnofibers, and two fingers are away from the wings. Its head has a tiara-like crown of small horns, jagged with nine spines in different sizes and vertically, along with eight small spines. It summons ice to cover its wings, limbs, and tail. Its thin, lance-like tail is highly flexible and can jab at enemies.
The Velkhana freely controls ice and cold wind and can cover wide areas of ice in an instant. It breathes beams of supercooled fluid that can instantly freeze monsters and survivors alike. When covered in its ice armor, ice crystals form nearby, and when struck by the Velkhana's ice breath, they form large spires that soon explode. Small ice platforms sometimes form, which can be jumped off of. Occasionally, spikes of ice fall from clouds close to the ground when they are enraged.
The Velkhana summons blizzards or snowstorms by flapping its wings or breathing both mist and hail from their own saliva from the sky. Velkhana breathes ice tornadoes like Barioth and Kushala too. In Earth, Sawintir and Reinachos, the Velkhana can now use moves from its Arch-Tempered version. The Velkhana will solidify Remobra, Mosswine, Bombadgy, and others while in a zone with them. The frostbite prevents them from being carved.

The Velkhana has the same basic shape as most other elder dragons: four legs and two wings on its back.
It utilizes countercurrent heat exchange to maintain itself warm in such surroundings, losing minimal heat in the process. Like ducks, it has a small amount of fat at the very tip of its wings that permits cold air to enter its body. The supercooled water inside the Velkhana's body can be breathed out of its mouth, rapidly freezing any objects or creatures caught in the blast. However, for scientists and members of the royal family, the Velkhana utilizes this special kind of organ that eats prehistoric ice to regulate the supercooled water inside its body.
The supercooled water that the Velkhana breathes out of its mouth is also secreted by the scales' sweat glands from the spaces between them. It uses the supercooled water it secretes to build icy armor all over its body, further shielding it from opposing blows. The Velkhana's secreted, supercooled water can even be used to help it regrow its tail.
The Velkhana, despite being used as cryophagia as their armor, are carnivorous by nature and, like other Elder Dragons, are at the top of the food chain. Although its diet is unclear at this time, it is likely to include both native animals and invasive species in polar regions. They discover that Velkhana's crystal scales are composed of fast-cooling magma after killing it. Therefore, the Velkhana did indeed molt itself in active volcanoes across the world like the Earth, Sawintir, and Reinachos.
The Velkhana is relatively calm when left undisturbed by passive animals or humans alike. It knows that it's a strong monster and that most, if not all, creatures will avoid challenging it in combat.
The Velkhana is the only one that lived on Planet Earth, located in Ahtohallan, an ancient and mysterious island that is home to several elemental guardians. It is near the North Pole, in the northern portions of Norway.

The survivors have to steal Velkhana's egg from the icy tunnels in order to tame it. The newborns need to be fed any kind of milk, which may be obtained from a variety of sources, following the hatching of these eggs using cold resources like air conditioners or refrigerators.
It is likely the multidimensionally regulated organization known as the Time Variance Authority that allowed Velkhana and other fauna from another world to enter the "Sacred Universe", as Harry Osborn and his friends at Oscorp discovered with the help of the Avengers Tower members. It is still unknown where these creatures from Monster Hunter's fauna came from. The godlike hominids known as the Isu, were born with superhuman skills, primarily without the use of physical magic, but with the capacity to predict the future. This is unless the unidentified character known as He Who Remains, a variation of Kang the Conqueror, sent these animals into the cosmos to challenge the Isu species.
He Who Remains introduced numerous species to this universe in the prehistoric era after winning the terrible Multiversal War brought on by his own variations. Because of the gravity and oxygen constraints, he reduced the size of Monster Hunter's animals. All Elder Dragon species' skills were significantly nerfed, and he received help from Arishem and Uatu to have Monster Hunter's animals change into their own versions of themselves.
Khione persuaded the Terran branch of the Aesir to use Project Pashneia, a scientific endeavor, for creating the Velkhana, which was then used to create all contemporary creatures such as humans, monsters, and animals.
Snoeg: One female individual name is Snoeg; Sawintiran term of Russian: снег means snow. Snoeg is main deuteragonist in later series of Weather Dragons.

Velkhana is initially referred to as the "Old Everwyrm" by characters in the game, believing it to be the dragon mentioned by that name in ancient texts; however, it is revealed that the Old Everwyrm is not Velkhana, but Shara Ishvalda.
Velkhana's theme is a medley rendition of "Trepak" by Pyotr Iliych Tchaikovsky and "William Tell Overture" by Gioachino Rossini.
Velkahana is the flagship monster of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
Velkhana is similar to Malzeno the flagship monster of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Both were thought to be the main source of conflict only for another Elder Dragon to be the true soruce.
In the crossover, Velkhana is only one that lived in Planet Earth located in Ahtohallan an ancient and mysterious island which home of several elemental-guardians, and it is near the North Pole at near the northern portions of Norway. Like Kushala Daora, both are from the Monster Hunter World as invasive species, and as well as invasive characters were non-canon/canon in my story.
