The Razorpin (Spinodeinonychus eilishi) is the one of the fictional species of dinosaur upcoming introduced in Worldcraft: The Center.
The first successful breeding program on Earth was followed in 2010 by the renowned biologists and paleontologists from Hawaii, Ronaldo and Paolo Kealani, who formalized the scientific nomenclature. The genus name Spinodeinonychus is a portmanteau of the Latin spina (spine/quill) and the Greek deinos (terrible) and onychos (claw); it literally means "Spined Terrible Claw." The Kealani brothers chose the species name eilishi in honor of musician Billie Eilish, whose ascent to fame coincided with the reintroduction of the species. They observed that the animal's "edgy, defiant nature and unique silhouette" complemented the artist's early style.
From the two words between razor and pin, it because of there sharp spikes on their body.
Singular: razorpin
Plural: razorpins
The Razorpin is a highly specialized dromaeosaurid that connects Isu-engineered defense with prehistoric biology. Razorpins are medium-sized, bipedal predators with a number of unique morphological characteristics. Its silky coat of proto-feathers, which is tan or sandy in color, helps it blend in with its surroundings in scrubland and forests. On the nape of the neck, the trailing edges of the forearms, and creating a "fan" at the tip of the tail, this dinosaur had noticeable, barred quills that were both dark brown and white.
It has a big, curved killer claw on the second toe of each foot, just like its Deinonychus relatives. The Razorpin has a little feather crest above its head and a dark, mask-like hue around its eyes and snout. Despite having feathered "wings" on its forearms, they are more suited for balance and display than for flying. The Razorpin is around 3.94 meters long, 1.4 meters tall, and weighs 89 kilograms, in contrast to its Deinonychus relatives.
The Razorpin combines classic dromaeosaurid mobility with a defense mechanism akin to that of a porcupine, giving it a unique fighting technique among raptors. The Razorpin's neck, arms, and tail are covered in rigid, hollow quills. It raises these quills, jumps, and speeds backward when it is cornered or defending a packmate. Like porcupines, the quills are made to break off upon impact, yet they stay embedded in the attacker to cause excruciating pain and irritation. In addition to its quills, it uses its characteristic "sickle claw" and fangs for high-penetration attacks, frequently targeting the soft underbelly or throat of its prey.
The Razorpin's Isu-restored physiology allows it to achieve sprinting speeds that surpass most contemporary Earth vehicles in dense forest terrain, as seen by the brownish-olive-colored Isu markings on its body.
Razorpins are "Pack-Based Saboteurs." In the wild, they use their quills to wear down much larger prey before making a last attack. They manage population growth and eradicate disease by consuming small to large animals such as tortoises, cattle, lions, hyenas, raptors, and even weaker creatures. Wyverns, felids, canids, salamanders, antechinuses, mustelids, crocodilians, dolphins, and other animals regularly prey on them in Everrealm. They have few natural predators on Earth; however, they do occasionally run afoul of larger mammals, large birds, and wyverns, as well as saltwater crocodiles in coastal estuaries. Similar to dromaeosaurs and certain birds, Razorpins have the ability to consume members of their own species. The main causes of cannibalism are overcrowding, extreme heat, owner abuse, and inadequate ventilation, which often lead to hostility.
Like their progenitors, they lay small clutches of eggs in communal "quill nests." Unlike their dromaeosaur relatives, these nests are so highly guarded by shed quills that few predators venture to raid them, much like barbed wire fences.
Laid eggs (like all non-avian dinosaurs)
Likely built quill-and-hay nests on the ground
Evidence from relatives suggests:
Parental care (guarding nests)
Possibly brooding eggs like birds
Based on the size of its brain, the Razorpin was intelligent for a dinosaur; it was somewhat gregarious; it was an active predator rather than a plodding scavenger; and it used agility and coordinated movement rather than physical strength. This dinosaur's interactions with humans are not "friendly" in the sense of a pet. Similar to a cross between an eagle, a porcupine, a fox, and a wolf, this animal may have the following characteristics: it may be educated in controlled settings; its quills make it extremely deadly if handled improperly; and it is territorial and predatory.
The Razorpin faces significant challenges in the modern era. As the primary obstacle to the independent Abstergo "research" in the North American Nexus, they are often hunted with high-tech drones and sonar traps.

The creatures are protected by King Roland II's royal order in "Safe Zones" that Ronaldo and Paolo created in the Pacific Northwest, Eithopian Highlands, Southern Italy, Lebanese Mountains, Malay Peninsula, and the European Alps. In order to "tune" the local ecology and preserve the Razorpins' extraordinary speed and quill durability, conservationist hunters employ Isu artifacts.

Only found on the planet Everrealm's Eastern Continent. During the Cretaceous epoch, they were a component of the Saurfolk and Fomorian "Bio-Sentinel" program. However, they became extinct along with both species and were altered by the Isu species to improve both magic and science. In 2010, Aunt Tilly and her brother, King Roland II, moved a number of packs to North America and Europe after the Collider Portals reopened.

With some of these tames, stealing an egg won't be too difficult. Nests spawn all across realms on cliffs. Although it is impossible to tame a wild Razorpin, it is possible to get a tamed Razorpin by stealing a fertilized Razorpin egg from a nest and hatching it. After acquiring an egg, the incubation temperature ranges from 176 to 194 degrees Fahrenheit, or 80 to 90 degrees Celsius, and can be achieved using a variety of flames (14 campfires, for instance), air conditioners, or a dimetrodon. In contrast to the Wyvern, or others, the hatchlings of Razorpin do not need a particular food supply once they have emerged from the egg and can be fed a typical carnivore diet.
A huge moth or butterfly is highly advised because you may quickly escape from it due to its capacity to fly and venom. They spawn all around Horatio or Zowhringe close to the nests and are simple to tame. Additionally, only 35 or higher is the minimum level required for their saddle.
Because of its capacity to fly, a high level Pteranodon is advised because you can easily remove the egg and flee or lure the group off a cliff.
According to Petronisella, the only porcupine in Europe was the crested porcupine, which was not introduced by the Romans until the Pleistocene and was a previously unknown extinct species of maniraptoran in France to Spain.

Razonpin do not take fall damage.
A Razorpin warns other pack members by releasing a strong, citrus-like pheromone when it lifts its quills.
According to reports, Billie Eilish herself has a "Certified Companion" Razorpin, which is regarded as a high-status pet in the Perfection Universe. Until one of these species wanted to covertly save the singer in 2017, they were unrelated in Justice Universe.
No other theropod can match the Razorpin's ability to race backwards at about 60% of its forward sprinting pace.
Although they lack wings, they are surprisingly adept swimmers. Prior to the Kealani brothers' 2011 discovery of their Deinonychus lineage, they were believed to be connected to the Telfinas.
