Segmented Worms

The annelids (Annelida), also known as the ringed worms or segmented worms, are a large phylum, with over 50,000+ extant species including ragworms, earthworms, and leeches. The basic annelid form consists of multiple segments.

List of Annelids

Leeches (Hirudinea)

Leeches are aquatic or terrestrial annelid worm with suckers at both ends. Many species are bloodsucking parasites, especially of vertebrates, and others are predators. These members of subclass Hirudinea.

Avalonian Leeches are large terrestrial annelid worm with suckers at both ends, mostly crawling or swimming. Some species are bloodsucking parasites, especially of vertebrates, and others are predators and herbivorous. These members of subclass Avalonirudinea. These creatures, except for Olgoi-khorkhoi are native to Avalon and Earth.

Earthworms (Lumbricina)

An earthworm is a terrestrial invertebrate that belongs to the phylum Annelida in suborder Lumbricina. They exhibit a tube-within-a-tube body plan; they are externally segmented with corresponding internal segmentation; and they usually have setae on all segments. They occur worldwide where soil, water, and temperature allow.
